Silver Medal Nomination Guidelines

The American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award Program was established to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry's standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually the American Advertising Federation of New Mexico bestows this honor upon outstanding members of the New Mexico advertising community. Take the time to nominate someone today!

How to Nominate

Submit in writing why your nominee is a candidate for the Silver Medal Award by describing their qualifications in the following 4 areas:

  • Contributions to his or her Company- The recipient must have achieved success in one of the following areas of work: advertising agency, advertiser and media or advertising services.
  • Creative Success- The recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking in their field.
  • Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising- The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.
  • Contributions to Their Industry and Their Community- The recipient should be someone who has been active in civic, religious or other groups dedicated to human or social welfare.

How to Format the Nomination

The nomination must be submitted in writing. It cannot be more than ten (10) typewritten pages, double-spaced, with one-inch margins. Supplement materials, such as a DVD (no longer than 4 minutes), or other examples pertinent to one of more of the qualifications may be submitted, but are not required.
