According to the Harvard Gazette, creativity is tied to mental illness. James Yang—a high-profile illustrator from Brooklyn, NY—has all but embraced that sentiment. If consistently creating award-winning work for the likes of Amnesty International, Time Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal wasn’t enough to make one crazy, Yang recently started a popular comic strip, The Impolite Gentleman, has written/illustrated two children’s books, teaches at Parsons School of Design and tries to stay on top of the ever-changing media and digital worlds. Not to mention that he’s pretty good at investing and poker.
