In her spare time, Elizabeth is an independent fashion consultant for her side business, LuLaRoe, obsessively watches her favorite TV shows and is addicted to Facebook.

Vice President / Addy Chair

Sarah Rihani

Brookfield Properties

Sarah Rihani moved to Albuquerque in 1992 from Amman, Jordan. She moved here when she was in second grade speaking little to no English. Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Services (BSHS) and proceeded to work in social work for 4 years, helping disadvantaged youth and their families and working with adults with mental illnesses. She then proceeded to obtain her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix and progressed into her current role doing Property Management for Coronado Center, a mall owned by Brookfield Properties. Sarah represents all the core values of her company by constantly evolving and instilling humility in everything she does. In her spare time Sarah enjoys attending concerts and spending time with her 13-year-old son and her family and friends.

Roberta Clark

CFO Principal at Esparza Advertising

With Esparza Advertising since April 2005, 20+ years accounting & finance experience

Bachelor’s in Accounting, issued with honors, Masters in Business Administration

Born and raised in NM, there’s no place like home

Three sons, one daughter.  As for interests outside of work…not that I have time for them, but we love to travel and spoil the grand babies.

Education Chair

Leslie Wood

As a freelancer, Leslie applies her marketing and public affairs expertise to helping small businesses in her community. If you venture to the great outdoors of New Mexico, you may spot her biking the trails of the Sandia or shredding the slopes in Taos. Where ever your paths cross, be sure to say hello and ask how she might contribute to your small businesses success.

Mentor Chair

Melinda Mesibov

Account Manager, 3 Advertising

Melinda is the Mentor Chair for the AAFNM and an Account Manager at 3 Advertising. She enjoys connecting with other advertising professionals and students through AAFNM events and the Elevate with an Expert mentor program. She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from UNM Anderson School of Management.

Woodward, Katy.jpg

Marketing/Communication Chair

Katy Woodward

Marketing Manager, CNM Ingenuity

Katy oversees marketing and outreach initiatives for CNM Ingenuity, a non-profit created by Central New Mexico Community College to pursue cooperative ventures in economic development and entrepreneurial support. In this role, Katy creates and implements marketing strategies for various initiatives including the Deep Dive Coding Bootcamps, FUSE Makerspace, and more. She’s worked at CNM for 10 years in Marketing, Public Relations, and Outreach. She holds a Bachelor’s in Communication from UNM, and an Executive MBA from UNM’s Anderson School of Management.

Social/Speaker Chair

Shalen Holt

Art Director, Esparza

Part man, part advertising machine (part of the reason we’re able to sleep at night), Sha is much more than a senior art director. He can synthesize complex advertising challenges in his mind so quickly that he makes Watson look like an outdated tool. His mental processing power is rivaled only by his artistic ability.
Sha cut his teeth in the rough and tumble world of local sign shops before joining Esparza. His work experience on the front lines of advertising, as well as his time in the design chair and at the concepting table, make him a formidable creative force, with cutting-edge strategic thinking to back it up.

During the summer you’ll find him enjoying/napping through America’s Pastime. In the winter you’ll find him with his snowboard, atop a snow-capped mountain. And throughout the year, his entrepreneurial side keeps him busy with side projects like the Seraparito Supply Co., a festive burrito blanket.

Small Business Development Chair

Jennifer Brower

Owner, Brower Consulting

Jennifer Brower is afraid of heights. When she was a little girl slicing through the clouds on her first glider flight, however, exhilaration overpowered any fear, and she dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Today, Jennifer Brower is not an astronaut. She is, however, a fearless trailblazer into undiscovered worlds. Together with her clients, she envisions where they need to be, navigates the best course of action, and guides them around any obstacles they may encounter along the way.
As the former Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Central New Mexico Community College, and Associate Director of Marketing for Dion’s, Jennifer has extensive experience in marketing, digital strategy, creative services and public relations. A two-time University of New Mexico graduate, she holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and political science, and a master’s degree in business administration. She is the current Board President for Albuquerque Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Collaborative, an organization dedicated to assisting survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Jennifer also serves on the board of UNM's Anderson School of Management Alumni Council.
When she’s not charting new ways to help others reach the stars, Jennifer can be found at her home base with her husband and two equally adventurous kids, or finding tranquility while running or ironing the laundry.

Student Board Member

Amanda Branom

She was born and raised in Albuquerque, and has a great love for her community. She recently discovered her love for Marketing through Anderson School of Business and hopes to continue to pursue this career in the future.
